RIFLE ASSOCIATION
ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the North Wairarapa Rifle Association was held last evening in the Dominion Hall, Masterton, Mr W, J. AVelch, vicePresident, presiding over .a large number.of local and visiting riflemen. The annual report- and balancesheet, showing a credit balance of £22 were read and adopted. All officers were unanimously reelected, and the following additional vice-presidents were elected.—Messrs F. W. Kummer, Mauriceville, W. J. Feast, Greytown, W. N. Kummer, Te Wharau, D. Jones, Pohangina, and J. D. Rivers, Hastings. It was decided that a Benefit Five Men Teams match bo held at the Fairview Range to-day. The entrance feo'of 10s for e:ich team to be donated towards "the funds of the Association. Mr D. Jones, of Aslmrst, donated £2 2s to the Association, on behalf of the Pohangina Rifle Club. The action of the Pohangina Club was highly commended, especially as the rlub has only recently been formed.
