DYNAMITE OUTRAGE

CULVERT BLOWN UP AT TE ORE ORE. POLICE INVESTIGATING. An outrage was committed at Te Ore Ore, near Masterton, yesterday, by which a culvert known as "Cavanagh's culvert" was destroyed. Councillor A. J. Percy, accompanied by the Masterton County engineer', proceeded to the spot in the afternoon. f hey found that the culvert had been wrecked, a large hole having being blown through the centre of it. A piece of fuse was found, which clearly indicated that dynamite had been employed. It is estimated that it trill cost £2O to restore the culvert. The police have been informed of the outrage, and an investigation is being made.
