AN EXPLOSION. (Received October 5, 9.19 o'clock.) NEW YORK, October 4. News has been received from Reno. Nevada, that a locomotive of a freight train exploded, the engineer and firemen being killed-. In connection with the train.disas--1 ter at Westport, Connecticut, the corrected- oasualty list' shows that eight persons, :eluding five women, were killed.
