MASTERTON TENNIS CLUB
AXXUAL MEETIXG
The thrty-first. annual meeting of the Mnstorton Lawn Tennis Club was held in Murray's Hall last evening, the' Rev Dean MeKonn:| presiding over a fair attendance of members.
In moving the adoption of the annual report and balance-sheet, the chairman referred to the successful season which the- Club had last year, and expressed the hope that the coming season would be equally as successful. The report and balance-sheet, showing a credit balance of £"2B .'is Id. were road and adopted.' Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows. President. Rev Dean MeKonna; vice-presidents, Messrs X. D. Bunting and 1). Caselberg; lion treasurer, Mr A. R. Sclanders; hon secretary, Mr H. M. Boddington ; hon auditor. Mr G. C. Summerell: committee, Messrs G. G. Aitken. J. B. Gordon, X. James. S. Noble-Campbell ;/nd A. L. Lowe. Tr was decided that the Club be registered under (,he Unclassified Societies Act, 1008. A ""u set of rn'ev.. embracing amendments and additions to the existing rules of the Club, was received and adopted. A vote of thank« was passed hi Miss Holmes who had rendered valuable service to the Club in past seasons, and who. owiiur to leaving rim district, had severed her connection with the Club. A vote of thanks was also passed to the press. The question of appointing an official opening day was held over.
