I From Our Own Correspondent.] The Carterton Territorials will hold two compulsory parades this month, one on tho 11th and the other on the 18th. i There was one marriage, nine births, and three deaths registered in Carterton' during the month of August, making for tho quarter 24 births, 8 marriages, and 5 deaths. At a meeting of Totara Lodge, U.A.0.D., on Monday evening, Bro P. Reid, A.D., presided. Two brothers wore declared on, and three off the sick fund. A report was received that Bro C. Arcus, at present an inmate of tho Cambridge Sanatorium, was making satisfactory progress. Several visiting brethren from Lodge Fernleaf, Greytown, were present, and were entertained. It was decided to get the Lodge's-name inscribed on the football shield,. won at the seven-a-sidc tournament on Saturday. Two friends were proposed for initiation.
