A RECENT FIGHT. HEAVY LOSSES. l (Received Last Night, 5.S 0 cloi'k.) ROME, September 28. Fourteen thousand Turks and Arabs participated in the fight with the Italians at Yanzur. Over one thousand were killed.
THE PEACE POURPARLERS. (Received September 28, 8 a.m.) CONSTANTINOPLE, September 27. Rechid Pasha, Minister for Agriculture, has gone to Switzerland to take part in the peace pourparlers. His new proposals should result in peace. It is likely that, Turkey will then welcome the opportunity to regain her . prestige. '
