A JOCKEYS DEATH

CHRISTOHURCH, Last Night
The jockey Rotter, who was injured early in June while schooling the horse Parallel, who was lying in the hospital unconscious till July 4th, was trepanned, recovered consciousness gradually, and during the last few weeks was able to speak, died this afternoon.
