THE HIGH SCHOOL
(To ':<: Editor.)
Sir,—There is a persistent report in circulation that if a High School were established in Masterton, it would be under the control of a Board of Governors, :ind that religious instruction would form part of the curriculum. . Can you tell me if this" is correct?—l am, et."., PARENT. (It is quite true that a High School, if established, would be under a Board of Governors. The Act provides that the Beard of Governors would ba nominated by the Government, the Education Board and the parents of children attending the school. Religious in-struotion may he introduced at the discretion of the Board of Governors.—Ed. Age.)
