TRACK WORK AT W ANG ANUI. (JB.y Telegraph — Ptvss Association.) WANGAXPI, Last Night, This morning some work of import- ' inice was done on the! tracks in view of the Spring Meeting of the Wanga-< nui Jockey .Club, to l)e held this week. The tracks were very dead, and no fast times were registered. Winning Way and Brown Owl rant six furlongs in 1.20, the latter' finish*--ing slightly in front. Bon Reve and Oxen hope rata a nice five furlongs, taking Imin ,8-J-sec' Aloha finished in front of Stepney in a five furlong spin,, taking 1.7-J-. Hawick and St. Felixcovered a mile in 1.52. Multiply and Our King ran six furlongs, the latter having ranch the best of the ''go" .in 1.21|. Distinction and Vocation, the latter looking very fit, did steady , work. Seaman beat Otalni over seven """ furlongs in 1.36. Ngataranui gave Darby Paul a start and a beating over five furlongs, which took Imin 6sec. Sandstream, Oakum, Loekwood, Neirene, Styx and a number of others did useful work. Haskeyne, Bollm and Altcar arrived last night.
