POLITICIANS ON HOLIDAY
Politician?!, like other people, are deserving of a holiday. Five nights at a stretch in the poisonous atmosphere of an over-crowded Chamber are sufficient to tax the physical strength of anybody. One would bav® thought that nobody would complain at our legislators baring a jaunt at th» w#®k-
end. But there are sitnio poius people in this world, particularly at Wan- | ganui, and these pious people have raised a hullabaloo because a party ol i'ai !i mientarii'.ns wive to go for a breath of fresh a;r up the Wanganui I'iver yesterday. We have an intense regard for tho sanctity of the Sab- . bath, but we should be sorry to think I that our Sibbatarian predehctions were to lead lis to the length of denying the right of men and women to enjoy an outing in the fresh air on Sundays.
