H-ECKTVKS A CHALLENGE. (Received Last Xk'ht. 10.15 n'plonk.) SYDNEY, September IS. Mr H. D. Mcintosh, the well-known fight iiromoter. has received a letter from Stephen Jones, of Boston, asking him to arrange a fight with Jack Johnson. Amongst his qualification* he mentions that he is a hie to split a floor, and a two-inch pkink with his hare fist, without hurting the skin.
