BOMBS DROPPED FROM AEROPLANES.
CONTEST AT HENDON. (fleceivea Sepi-ember 17, 9.15 a.m.) LONDON, September 16. , Afc Hendon, fifteen thousand persons witnessed a bomb-dropping from <rc'i - oplanes contest. Mr Travers, the winner dropped a bomb from a height of 100 feet with in a 26 feet mark, Mr S. an Australian was seo ond, dropping a missile within & thirty-nine foot circle. Mr Pickles won the altitude contest reaching a height of 2850 feet.
