HOME RESTRICTIONS.
It may not be generally known that the Home authorities impose restrictions'on the importation of live stock from New Zealand. These restrictions prevent local breeders from competing at the "Royal Agricultural Show, and from showing English breeders what can be produced in th»> Dominion. Nobody items to know why the importation of New Zealand stock to the United Kindgom should be prohibited. There are no diseases among the stock of th? Dominion, and uo apparent reason wliy the restrictions should be imposed. The Minister of Agriculture should take prompt steps to have' the embargo removed.
