AGRICULTURAL HIGH SCHOOLS.
The Ekctahuna Express thinks there is a disposition on the part of pupils attending the District High School to qualify for the University, and that being so. Agricultural High Schools would not be successful. Our 'contemporary is probably not aware that the Education Commission and the Cost of Living Commission have each advocated the institution of a thorough system of agricultural training, with a view to diverting th* attention of the young from 'professional pursuits. The professions are overcrowded. The cities and towns pwpess hundreds of out-of-work clerks and men who have been ruined through their education being directed Into wrong channels. Tt is time there was n change, and the present Government will fad iu th? duty it ow?
the jKTple if it <-oes not bring about that change.
