WEDDING BELLS

CHERRY—HARVEY, At the residence of the bride's parents, Kaiparoro, .on September ILth, Miss Annie Millieent Harvey, eldest daughter of Mr John Harvey, was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to Mr Henry Heritage Cherry, second son of Mr Alfred Cherry, draper, of Blandford, Dorsetshire, England. The bride, who was given away l.y her father, was a It; rod in a (ream iadiante dress, with overall lace yoke and croam insertion, and wore the usual veil and orange blossoms, and carried a shower bouquet. She was attended by her two sisters Misses Elsie and Gladys—as bridesmaids. They were dressed in cream delaine, trimmed with insertion. The bridegrooms present to the bride was a sil-ver-backed brush and comb. The bride's present to the bridegroom was a morocco leather pocket-book, silver-mounted. The bridegroom's presents to the bridesmaids were gold brooches. ( Mr A. C. Harvey, brother of tne bride, acted as best man. The happy couplo left by the 2.30 p.m. train for Wellington, amid showers of rice and good wishes. The ceremony was performed by the Rev H. A. Walke, of Eketahuna. After the ceremony a sumphuou.s breakfast was partaken of. In the evening a reception was held in the public hall, at which there was a large attendance. The presents received wero numerous and valuable, including three cheques.
