THOMPSON-PAYKE PICTURE. The audience which attended the Forester's Hall last evening was delighted with the excellent programme provided. It would be hard to imagine a hotter programme being provided. 1 The "Mine on the Yukon" is a very fine drama, founded on 'that famous work by Rex Beach. "The Thaw, at Sliscoes." That general favourite. Maurice Costello takes the leading role in that famous law court drama "The Counsel for the Defence," this being a particularly fine picture. "Won by Waiting" is one of those homo truths which the Lubin Company is' now featuring, and it is a very telling drama.
