MASTERTON HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY
BULB EXHIBITION. On Wednesday next a Bulb Exhibition will bo held in tho sample room at tho Club Hotel, Queen Street, from 2.150 to 9.30 p.m'. Prizes have been kindly donated by Mr Alfred Booth, Middle Ji.un, of 10s, ss, and bulbs to the value of 5s for the best exhibit of Trumpit Daffodils, 3 varieties, 3 bloomy each, medium •cup and small cup. For the best collection of narcissi, 12 varieties, 3 blooms each, Mr W. H. Higglus, bulb grower and importer of Geelong, Victoria, Australia, kindly donates choice bulbs to tho value of 10s, 7s and 4« for first, second and third prizes respectively. The committee will be pleased to display for exhibition any ichoice blooms members may be, pleased to send in for that purpose. Members entering for competitions are re'■quested to advise the secretary,--Mr "H. M. Boddington, by 10 a.m. cn Wednesday, tho morning of the exliibition. Mr A. Booth intends exhibiting a large and interesting collection rf'blooms. I
