SYDNEY GAS BILL
NOTICE OF AMENDMENTS. (Received September 12, 10.20 a.m.) SYDNEY, September 12. 'Consideration of the Gas Bill was resumed in Committee of the Legislative Assembly. Mr Carmichael, Minister for Labour and Industry, gave notice of a series of amendments, including an infcreaue in the standard rate of interest from 4 to 10 per centum, hut as a 6et-off it is proposed that the standard price of gas shall he reduced from 3s 9d to 3s per thousand feet.
