Question of cadets ALLEGATION.": DENOUNCED. (Received Lait 10 o'clock.) MELBOURNE, September 12. Mr R. M. Collins. Federal Secretary of Defence, in a letter to the newspapers, denounced the unfairness and absurdity of the statement that 18,000 cadets are actively opposing the Defence Act. . He shows that there are only 6-13 defaulters in New South Wales, and considerably fewer in tho other States. The majority of the 18,000 mentioned were only liable in that they did not attend tho minimum number of drills.
