The address given by T)r Truby King in Masterton on "Wednesday,., night was of a highly instructive character, and should do much to arouse parents ifrom the indifferences they manifest in respect to the commonest-laws pertaining to health. The importancethe lecture attached to proper dentition and to physical culture will, it is to be hoped, cause people to think and to act. It is unhappily too true that, owing to the ignorance of parents, thousands of'children's lives are lost in this, country every year. The mortality ~ ijideed, assujqtySjd alarming proportions. The Government is to be commended upon sending through thecountry so ..able.and .oon n . soieutious a pathologist- as. Df Truby Iting. It- is to be hoped that the crusade he has com menced will result in a /systematic movement for the better preservation of the health of the rising generation.
