THE LATEST DEVELOPMENT. (By Telegraph —Prew association. J REEFTON, Last Night. A meeting of the Miners' Union was held yesterday, but it is understood that nothing definite was done. The officials stated that the prospects of a settlement are brighter. It is also understood that the Union will not be represented at the Supreme Court on Wednesday at Greymouth,. when the Consolidated Goldfields, Ltd., will appeal against the Magistrate's grant of protection conditional on its applying to the Arbitration Court.
