MR BUCHANAN'S QUESTION
In the House of Representatives on Wednescfay, Mr W. C. Buchanan At asked for Native Affairs V whether he would, at as early, a dati> as possible, place at the disposal cf :settlers that portion of the Waituturau Native Block in the Wairarapa recently purchased by'the Government, ■and aiso whether he will Rive instruuetions for, the purchase of the remainder of the block as soon as possible. The Hon Mr Herrios (Native Minister), in tile course of his reply, said that the purchase has not yet been completed by the Crown, and is being dealt with by the Native Land "Purchase Board/but it will be pushed on as rapidly as possible, and the Work will be made available for settlement as soon as the necessary arrangements can bo made.
