DAMAGE VERY HEAVY

Tho damage done in the city of Norwich by the floods is estimated ut £IOO,OOO. Tho trees are infested by rats seeking refugo from the flood waters.
The waters are receding, and the flood,guage is-again visible. It.v-s.--s hidden for the first time since 1614. There has been another twelve hours' rain.
The relief fund, for the flood sufferers hnn reached £3OOO.
Food rations are being served out
Electric traction has been restored in tho city, and business is reviving.
