ROBINSONIANA.

(To tlto Editor Wairarapa Age.) f crave your indulgence. There lias developed in this coin inanity a complaint which is seriously disturbing tho bental' eo.uilihrium oi those afflicted. T have searched the Medical Cyclopaedia, and have fai led to discover a disease possessing the peculiarities of this one. It seems to have had its origin in sleeping s;cKness, and to have developed forms o! nightmare and day dreams. The victims of the disease walk listlessly about, with their tongue in their cheek, as though in pursuit of fantasies. They congregate at -street corners; indulge in the fascinating pastime of back-scratching ; contribute incoherent effusions to the spookPress; imagine themselves Czars, and Kaisers, and Kings of the Cannibal Islands; picture scholarly personages clad in robes and diagonal head-gear; chase shadows by day and phantoms by night; have an - insatiable lust for publicity, and for tormenting the citizens with their arrogance; expand their chests in an abnormal manner; and generally conduct- themselves as though they had served, an apprenticeship at- Porinia. - These, sir, are tho victims of the dread complaint, which can best bo described as "Eobinsoniana." Can you surest a remedy? —T t am, etc..
