CORRESPONDENCE

TRUST! TRUST! ! TRUST! ! !

(To the Editor)

Sir, —The rechauffe collation of "Trust Laaids Trust" that has been served up to the Masterton public during the past couple of months has recalled to my memory the invocation used in the days of long ago, when mutton formed the chief item on the menu in the waybacks. Tt may be paraphrased thus— Trust Lands young. Trust Lands old : Trust Lands hot, Trust Lands cold; Trust Lands tender, Trust Lands tough ; I trust of Trust we've had enough. STTLL TRUSTING.
