The ;' contracting parties were Miss Olive May Patterson, of To Aroha. and Mr Hugh Miller, of Eureka, second son of Mr James Miller, of Mastertoch The bride, who was becomingly attired in a handsome brocaded crystalline dress with court train, and trimj med with heavy silk insertion, wear- | ing tho usual veil and orange blos- ' soms, was supported as bridesmaid by Miss Janet Miller (sister .of the bridegroom),) anal Miss Gladys Patterson, (sister <:f the bride.) The bridegroom way accompanied by Messrs J. Campbell as best man and Mr W. Huston as groomsman. | Tho bride was given away by her , father, Mr J. Pattison. The bridesmaids, carrying very pretty bouquets, looked very dainty in their dresses of white silk, with silver trimmings. At the service Miss Cooper, organist, played the usual wedding marches. After the marriage ceremony an adjournment was made to the residence of'tho bride's parents, where a number of gueet-s sat down to the wedding feast. The bride and bridegroom, after receiving the good'wishes of the party, left for Rotorua fortheir honeymoon trip. Mr and Mrs Miller will make thenhome at Eureka, where the bridegroom his a large .sheep farm. Thr* bridegroom's present to tho bride was a valuable gold bangle, set with jewels) a.nd to tho bridesmaids a gold j brooch and pendant. The presents., | which included sever "cheques for suhl stmtial amounts, were a valuable a.o. jsortmont, and gave ample demon stra- | tion of the popularity of the young ! couple.
