TANGIER, August 27
General Mangin surprised one of the encampments of El Hiba, the Pretender, in the vicinity of Suk-El-Arba, and routed tho enemy :at tho point of the bayonet. Native advices state- that El Hiba has quitted Marrakesh and gone north. The friendly Kaid El 'Glawi handed him over the Frenchmen who were in Marrakes'h, El Hiba promising to escort them to the frontier.'
