The latest news from .the frontier tends to confirm the repeat that the military destroyed eleven .villages in tho Beltane district.
An apparently inspired :«fcatoment declares that many Albanian tribesmen, when dispersing homewards, pillaged the rifle depots and seized altogether 17,000 rifles. Albanian opinion in .Constantinople is sceptical regarding .the reported participation of the King's me,n in the alleged massacres at Bielo|>bleh and Sienitza.
The Governor at Berat telegraphs that tho Albanians are dispersing quietly homewards.
REPRESENTATIONS BY POWERS
MONTENEGRO NOT AGGRESSIVE

The representatives of the great Powers are energetic in their representations to the King and Government in connection with the frontier troubles.
The King has replied that he will do nothing contrary to the wishes of the powers. Montenegro is not aggressive, but/ is only protecting herself from Turkey's attacks, which as an independent State she is unable to longer tolerate on her territory.
