WELLINGTON MEAT EXPORT COMPANY.
Tho Wellington Meat Export Company is to bo congratulated upon the success which lias attended its opera-' tions during the past year. In spite of the industrial trouble experienced, it has been enabled to produce a balance-sheet of a highly satisfactory character. We cannot quite follow the Managing Director when ho suggests that tho extension of existing works in the Dominion is not warranted. He overlooks the fact that several of the works have insufficient storage accommodation, and that in such cases it if absolutely necessary that provision should be made against ocntingencies. However, with the remark that the works in existence are capable of handling most of the stock that is offering, many people will be found in accord.
