OPIUM SMUGGLING
CHINAMAN FINED. (Bv Tdfiarawh — "Pre.nn Association.) GREYMOUTH, Last Night.
A Chinaman, named Joe Bung came off the s.s. Arahura this morning and wag arrested by Detective Campbell, and a stock of opium was found in his possession. Frequent-trips to Wellington bad aroused tbe suspicions of the Customs officers, with the above results.
Accused appeared before tbe court to-dav and was fined £4O.
