INTER-COLLEGTATE TOURNAMENT.

WANGANUI, Last Night

The animal inter-college tournament between Christ's College (Christchurch), Wellington College, and Wa~ ngaui Collegiate School, commenced to-day, when Christ's College met Wanganui. The weather was beautiful, and tho ground in first-class cider. There was an attendance of about 2000. A good game, keenly contested, resulted in' a win for Wanganui by 8 points to 6. Lala and Faher scored for Wanganui, the latter converting his own trv. Bush and Still crossed tho line for Christ's College, neither try being converted. On Wednesday Christ's College will play Wellington, and on Friday Wellington will ineei Wanganui.
