ALIEN EMIGRANTS FOR CANADA.

LONDON, August 23
The emigration' returns show that 1»4,314 emigrants flailed during the first »?ven months of 1912, for Canada while emigration to Australia was largely increased. A feature is that while practically no aliens go to Australasia, a largo number went -feo Canada.
The newspaper Ottawa Citizen attributes, the diversion of emigration to Australasia to the sterness of the struggle in Western Canada.
