Exception was also taken to the grossly misleading statements publicly mad:? by interested oarties.
' It was resolved that a copy of the correspondence from the Land Board be forwarded the Minister for Lands and that he be informed the land is adm-'rably adapted for closer settlement, and that Mr Sykes, M.P , be urged -fee use his influence in hazing the laud stil/-divided and thrown open for selection.
