AN IMPORTANT RESOLUTION

At a special meeting of the Masterton District High School, held last evening, the following resolution, proposed by Mr W. L. Falconer, and seconded by Mr J. Shackleton, was carried unanimously:—• "That the strongest protest be

made against the proposal contained in the report of a committee of the Masterton Trust Lands Trust to rob the primary scholars of the Masterton 'District High School of their birthright in a share of the funds of the Trust Lands Trust, and that this committee calls upon parents, and other school committees concerned, to strongly oppose such an iniquitous proposal."
