INSURANCE RATES

For some time past there has been dissatisfaction amongst local bodiesthroughout the district, in regard tothe rates charged by Accident Insurance Companies. Many local bodiesare now taking their own risks. The Akitio County Council is now circularising local bodies in the Wairarapa and Bush districts with a view to ostablihing an accident sinking fund.
