COST OF LIVING COMMISSION
ANOTHER EXTENSION OF TIME

WELLINGTON, Last Night
There is reason to believe that the Cost of Living Commission will conclude its labours very soon. A final extension of time has just been granted, by the Government, and the Commission's report has to be in by the end of the present month. It was appointed in May last, and was instructed to report by June 2oth.
The Commission has secured no h ss than three extensions of time. r ! he first extension was for a month, the second carried it on until the present week, and the third gives it until the 30th inst to conclude its investigaport is well in hand, and may be presented earLv next week.
