In a speech, the commander of the Canadian Cadets said he had been vc quested by Sir Charles Tupper, the son of. a Canadian pioneer, to give the following message to Australians:— "In the time of trouble, great or small, you can depend on Canadians to give their lives, money, everything they have, to help you or any other part of the nation to remain a portion of the Empire."
