The annual meeting of the- Tara-tahi-Carterton Racing Club was hek? on Thursday afternoon at Carterton, Mr H. R. Bunny (president) presiding. The annual report and balancesheet was adopted. Officers were elected as under: Patron, Mr W. O. Buchanan. M.P.; president Mr H. R. Bunny; Messrs H. Judd aud,H. H. Wolters: auditors, Messrs R. J. Ch-anninn and J. Monerieff: judge. Mr J. W. Card; timekepnor. Mr R. G. Kemble; clerk of scales.- Mr TT. McPhoe : lion'surgeons, Drs Boy. Johnston and Palmer; stewards;, Moss's W. Howard Booth. A. Davsh. W. J. Donboe. W. M. Faller, J. Hqdder. R. G. Kemblo. L.< Nix. j. G. Oates, T. Rav. R. Ravnor, junr., C. and P. C. Skcllv. It was decided that 'the rules lie altered to read that a quorum at a general or a special meeting be ten instead of fifteen. A discussion ensued as to whether the. Club should be wound no. on account of not beinfr able to obtain a second day. A motion favouring the winding up of the Club was put to the meeting, and lost, only the mover voting for it.
