CAMBRIDGE LECTURER KILLED
WHILE OX HIS HONEYMOON".

TURIN, August 15. Mr H. Jones, lecturer in cheainst'7 at Clare College, Cambridge, with h.wife and a Swiss guide, was killed or. the Fresnay Glacier, Aiguille do i'vteret. ROME, August 13. Mr and Mrs Jones were on fchsvr honeymoon when the fatality occurred. They were roped together with the guide., Dr Preuss, a German, was directing the course uiwoped. The accident was due to a .rod: to which the guide was fixed- becoming let a died and crushing the guide. The rope caught in , another rock, I tit broke, otherwise all would have been saved.
Dr Preuss returned to Cournayeur, and has reascended the mountain Avilh a search party.
