HISTORIC MEMORIAL
TO AUSTRALIAN NOTABILITIES

MELBOURNE, August 16
A scheme has been adopted by the Feder.i.l Parliamentary Committee for a historic memorial gallery. It provides that a start be made with Sir Henry Parkes. There are eighteen names on the list, including Sir Edmund Barton, Sir George Reid, Messrs Kingston, "Alfred Deakin, J. C. Watson, the Hon. A. Fisher, and Lords Dudley, Denman and Linlithgow.
