CHRISTOHURCH, Last Night
The criminal sittings of the Supremo Court were continued to-day. Frederick Joshua AVeblcy pleaded guilty of a charge of indecent assault, sentence being deferred. Bridget Clark, a middle-aged woman, charged with performing an illegal operation 'and causing the death of Martha Henderson, was sentenced to eight years' imprisonment. Frank Gaseombe, charged with the manslaughter of his wife, was sentenced to six months' imprisonment.
