PALMERSTON STOCK SALE
PALMERSTON N M Last Night,
Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report: At our Palmerston N. sale, held on Thursday, the 15th inst., we had a fair yarding of both sheep and cattle. Bidding was brisk, and practically everything was sold under the hammer at satisfactory prices. We quote: Mixed hoggets 6s "xl lis od, 13s lOd to lis Id, ewes in lamb 14s Gd, fat ewes 18s, fat wethers ! 18s 7d, forward ewes 9s Id to 10s lOd. Cattle, springing cows £5 to £6 10s, choice weaner heifers £3 2s 6d, bulls £2 12s Od.
