TINUI.
Tinui is about to form a Gun Club, and a strong membership is promV ed. At :< shoot on 3rd August, MY F. Groves won, with Mr Brookes second, Mr D. Bennett winning the second sweepstake, killing all his birds, and Mr Taylor being second. On the 10th, there was a good attendance, Mr B. Maunsell being first, killing all the bird*, Mr D. Bennett being gaeond. In another ma-teh later Mr D. Bennett won, with Mr F. Groves .second. Plum and wattle trees were in flower on 20th July on the East Coast, and young lambs are to be seen everywhere this week, and seem none the worse for the recent severe snowstorm. The recent six weeks' flood on the East Coast has killed the grass grub in many of the wet paddocks. They only hold out in the dry lands.
