WAIRARAPA SUCCESSES. At the Napier competitions yesU> clay, Mi&s Cecil Haines was awarded first for recitation by children under twelve years. 'Master £. A. Bishop,, of Clareville, tied for second place in the recitation for hoys tinder 16. M.<ig M. Williams, of Masterton, was second to Miss Cecil Haines in the recitation for girls tinder 16. Mr C. E. Mills, of Pahiatna,- was first in the tenor solo. Miss Dorothy Blanclwd, of Masterton, won tho ladies' test recitation, Mr H. Mill's, of Pahiatna, was first in. the ba*>s solo, and Mr T W. Manifold, of the same township, second.
