INTfcK PARTY CONFERENCE SJR WILFRED LAURIER UNFAVOURABLE. (Received Last Night 11.30 o'clock). OTTAWA, August 11. Sir Wilfred Laurier's attitude on the Canadian Navy question is being eagerly canvassed in political circles. Sir Wilfred Laurier does not look kindly at tho proposal for an interparty conference with the object of evolving a naval policy, wad securing the support of all sections of political opinion. He believes that the question ig entirely one for tfie Borden Government, the Opposition confining itself to its natural function of criticism of tho concrete scheme when it is evolved.
