ORDINARY MFETTXG. The ordina~y meeting of the Masterton Trust Lauds Tmstec's was held in the Trust offices, Queen Street, last evening, there being present—Messrs R. Krahagen (chairman), C. E. Daniel!, J. H, Pauling, 0. C. Pragnell, I). Caselberg, and W. H. Jackson. The treasurer's report, showing a debitbalance of £845 3s Id, was read and adopted. The reports of the Finance., and Building Committees were read and adopted. The secretary of the Masterton Competitions Society wrote and forwarded a balance-sheet rf the recent competitions, and asking the Trust for some assistance on account of the loss sustained by the Society. It was decided that the sum of £7 7s be granted to the Society. it was decided that the report of M'* Robinson's special committee bo held over until the members of the committee were present. It was decided that tho term of renewal of the lease of one of the Trusts properties be ten years, to be granted at the expiry of the present lease. It was decided that the rentals of Tnist properties be printed on the back of the balance-sheets in hand, as it was not considered necessary to again circulate the balance-sheets, which would entail considerable cost. Tt was decided that the sum of £IOO be at once paid to the Masterton School Committee to enable them to obtain the necessary furniture for the 1 new Assembly Hall. The Masterton Beautifying Society wrote acknowledging a letter from the Trust, in reference to the Trust section at the corner of Church and Hall streets. It was decided at a meeting of the Beautifying Committee that the curface of th" section in nuestion be wall-, ed, and that the fencing lie remodelled. It was also decided to remove the old buildiiur. and re-arrange the advertising hoarding. The wovk will be done under the supervision of the Borough engineer. Accounts amounting to £62 8s 5d were passed for payment. The meeting then adjourned.
