THE BREACH OF PRIVILEGE.
Ihe member for Wuirau is to bo congratulated upon the vindication cf bis character in respect to the -election petition incident, acd upon the generosity he displayed in connection with i-.tliD Prime Minister's resoluton on tlio subject-. It is to be regretted that it should have been necessary for the House to assert its privilege ra such a matter. If members would ■ follow the example cf Mr Lee, and consign offensive personal communications to the fire, the time of the country would not be wa?ted over investigations motions of censure.
