OPAKI RIFLE CLUB
ANNUAL DANCE. The tenth annual dance of the Opaki Rifle Club was held in the Excl, Hall last evening. There were it wards of fifty couple's present, and th' floor a.nd music being excellent, danc i'-iiv i>-is thomuirhlv enjoyed until, an early hour. A sumptuous supper was partaken of, provided by Miss Capper, of tho Exchange Tea Rooms. The arrangementss which were in the hands of Messrs R. J. King, V. Swanson, J. McGregor, R. J. Smith, and G. Hyde, left nothing to be desired, everything passing ov without a hitch. Messrs H. C. Jones and J. Murray, the joint secretaries, are also to be congratulated on the success of the function. Troubles won during the past season by the various members of .the Opaki Club were displayed, and attracted quite a deal of attraction.
