CARTERTON NEWS

Eleven degrees of frost were registered in Carterton on Sunday night.

The Tararuas were heavily coated with snow on Monday morning, presenting a very pleasant sight from the town.

On the Featherston golf links on Saturday afternoon, a team of men from the Carterton and Featherston clubs played a drawn game. The Carterton ladies beat the Featherston Indies by points to \ point. The contractors for the erection of the new premises for the Bank of Xew South Wales at Carterton commenced the work on Monday morning.
