SHOCKING FATALITY

HAMILTON, Last Night
Late this afternoon a shocking accident occurred at the water tower, which the Fnjnkton Town Board is erecting on Frankton Hill, where a young man named Neil Kennedy fell from the scaffolding, a distance of some sixty or seventy feet. The ambulance was at once sent to convey the injured man to the Hamilton Hospital, where lie arrived shortly after 3 o'clock. It is understood that the unfortunate man was working with another under tho floor of the tank, and :n endeavouring to pass his mate, slipped from the scaffolding to the basement, a distance of 76 feet. When admitted to the hospital Kennedy was in an unconscious condition, and his injuries were so serious that little hope was entertained for his recovery. He died a little time later. An inquest will be hekl to-morrow.
